Frans Mernick, an award-winning music producer, songwriter, composer, audio engineer, and sound designer, hails from New York City and is currently based in Los Angeles.

Over a 15-year career, Frans has collaborated with renowned artists such as A$AP Rocky, Kanye West, Foster the People, and Mark Ronson. His journey began with engineering A$AP Rocky’s debut mixtape "LiveLoveA$AP," leading to his role as an in-house producer, engineer, and mixer for Rocky's company AWGE. There, he produced and co-wrote five tracks on Rocky’s Billboard #1 album "AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP," including the platinum singles “Canal St” and “Everyday.” Frans also contributed vocals and guitar on the track “Better Things.”

Expanding his repertoire, Frans produced numerous songs in the alternative rock genre, including the RIAA-certified gold single “Harden the Paint” by Foster the People and MisterWives’ “SUPERBLOOM,” which featured in various advertising campaigns, films, and TV shows for clients like LegalZoom, Indeed, American Idol, Fox Sports, and Netflix.

In recent years, Frans has ventured into music for advertising, serving as the music lead and sole composer for a 12-spot ad campaign for Instagram, which won an AMP award for “Most Effective Use of Music in a Campaign.” He continues to compose music for film, TV, and advertising clients while working with recording artists and exploring opportunities in the video game industry.
